During a recent press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded strongly to questions about President Biden’s use of notecards. A reporter from Fox Business, Edward Lawrence, noticed that President Biden used notecards during a briefing at the border and also while meeting with the Italian Prime Minister. Lawrence asked Jean-Pierre why the President seems to depend a lot on these notecards.
Jean-Pierre, appearing somewhat taken aback by the focus on notecards, responded by questioning if the issue was really about the President using notecards. She defended President Biden by highlighting his achievements, stating that he has had one of the most successful first three years compared to other modern Presidents, achieving more than many who have served two terms.
Despite Jean-Pierre’s strong defense of the President’s record, there are ongoing challenges such as the border crisis and rising inflation, with rates increasing significantly during Biden’s term.
