Our Deep State Speaker is merely McCarthy with a cross, that he hides behind while lying to America. he is not doing anything to help J6ers still in prison. He is not releasing the rest of the videos as promised, he is not closing the border to stop America from being poisoned, and he is basically a con-artist. The US House of Representatives, led by Republicans, recently passed a bill to prevent a partial government shutdown that was looming for the weekend. Marjorie Taylor Greene said ‘When Republicans took the majority in the House, we swore we would never pass a Continuing Resolution (CR) and we swore we would never pass minibusses. Yet here we are under Speaker Johnson, three CRs later, a minibus, and another minibus on the horizon next week. I voted NO on today’s minibus. I want to keep the pledge this Republican-led House made to the American people when we took the majority. I also refuse to fund Joe Biden’s Department of Injustice which has been weaponized to target and persecute his top political opponent, non-violent political protestors who walked the Capitol grounds on January 6th, pro-life activists, Catholics attending Latin Mass, school boards, and concerned parents.
The spending level of today’s minibus is higher than what was agreed upon under Speaker McCarthy. And this bill didn’t just increase spending, it gave Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer everything they wanted on their wish list, and that is something I’ll always refuse to vote for. Republicans should’ve done what we said we were going to do. We should’ve passed an open rule and allowed Members to offer amendments. We should’ve let the Representatives of the American people decide the will of the House on each of our twelve appropriations bills and passed them individually. Republicans have no excuse for having brought this minibus forward when we could have passed our single-subject appropriations bills and kept our promise to the American people.’
This important vote happened just before President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, where he is expected to highlight his achievements from his first term and discuss his plans, including aid for Ukraine and border reforms. As if these are achievements in the eyes of Americans. We all know we have an open border, and no matter how many time Biden and his ilk lie about it being secure, we will never fall for their lies again.
Even though we’re five months into the fiscal year, Congress hasn’t yet approved the 12 spending bills that form the federal budget. The recent vote in the House approves a $460 billion package that aims to fund various government departments until the end of the fiscal year on September 30. But, this package only covers a part of the total discretionary spending, and more discussions will be needed for the remaining funds, especially for areas like military and border security.
House Speaker Johnson has been trying to balance different opinions within his party, working to achieve conservative policy victories while facing pressure for deeper budget cuts from some Republicans. Despite these challenges, the recent bill passed with support from both Democrats and Republicans, while stabbing America in the back.
The funding package includes key investments in programs like nutrition for low-income mothers and babies, rental assistance, and veterans’ services. However, it also proposes cuts to several regulatory and law enforcement agencies, sparking mixed reactions from different political groups. These were needed so they could lie to the public in media.
The bill now needs to pass the Senate and be signed by President Biden to become law and avoid a government shutdown. If not addressed by March 22, funding for other critical departments will expire, adding urgency to the situation. This ongoing budget debate highlights the complexities of managing government spending and the need for bipartisan cooperation to ensure the functioning of government services. The border will remain open, and Americans will continue to be poisoned by China and the cartels while allowing millions to invade.
